How to navigate layers of elements in a block?
Website
In website blocks, elements are organized in layers, with each layer containing different elements. For example, a button might be inside a container, which could be inside another container along with text. This nested structure is common and helps organize the content on your site.
Selecting the Right Element
- Selecting an Element: When you click on an element, a top toolbar appears. This toolbar shows the name of the selected part and provides three buttons.
- Using the "Back" Button: The first button is the "Back" button. Clicking it takes you to the outer layer containing the selected part. For example, if you select a button, clicking "Back" will take you to the container containing that button.
- Navigating Layers: Clicking "Back" in that container will take you to the container containing the text and button container. Continue clicking "Back" to navigate through the layers until you reach the desired one for editing.
Editing Elements
Accessing Editing Options: Once you reach the layer you want to edit, you can make changes using the options in the right-hand menu. This menu provides various editing tools and settings for the selected element.
By understanding how elements are nested within each other, you can efficiently navigate and edit your website's content.
