How do you get started creating a website?
Creating Your Website Pages
To create pages for your website using cocast.fit, follow these steps:
1. Accessing the Website Feature
Click on the "Website" feature in the system feature menu. This will take you to the page management page.
2. Adding a New Page
On the page management page, find the "Add" button and click on it. This will open the "Create Page" window. If you haven’t claimed your domain yet, a "claim your domain" prompt will appear, leading you to the settings to let you claim your domain. After claiming your domain, you can add a page, and the "Add" button will display on the website feature page.
3. Choosing a Starting Point
In the "Create Page" window, you have two options:
- Explore Templates: Clicking here takes you to the templates display page of cocast.fit. Here, you can find a variety of visually stunning website templates with dynamic styles. Preview each template to see how it looks and functions. If you find one you like, click "Use This Template" to enter the website builder with that template. Templates include landing pages, service pages, galleries, about pages, testimonials, forms, and contact pages.
- Start from Scratch: Choosing this option opens a window asking if you want to use a template. Starting with a template and customizing it is recommended to save time. If you choose "Later," you'll enter the website builder with a blank page.
Building Your Website
Once you're in the website builder, you can replace images, icons, logos, and text to customize the template to fit your style and branding. If you started from scratch, you can use drag-and-drop blocks to build your page. Start by adding blocks to the building area, and then you can customize each element within the blocks to suit your needs. With our pre-designed blocks, you can cover most layouts and styles without worrying about margins or layouts.
đź’ˇ We recommend using templates and blocks as they provide a solid foundation for your website. Avoid making significant changes to margin, dimension, or padding, especially when using templates or blocks, as this could potentially disrupt the responsiveness of your site across different devices.
đź’ˇ If you can't find a template or block that suits your needs, and you have a specific template in mind that you'd like us to add to the system, please chat with us and let us know. We're here to help!
