How to edit image source and understand Alt attributes

Website

Add image:

To add images in the website builder, click on the image to reveal the image edit menu on the right sidebar. The first section is the image source, where you can add images in two ways:

1) Enter a source link:

If you have an image source link that you want to use, simply paste the link. Sometimes, the image link may not work due to restrictions from the original website's CORS policy or other factors.

Do not use any image or content for which you do not have the copyright on your website. If you do so, you are fully responsible for any consequences. Cocast.fit is not responsible for the content on your website.

2) Upload from your device:

Click on the upload button to select an image from your local device. Once uploaded, the image will be stored safely on our cloud, and a link will be generated for it.

Even though the image is stored on the cloud by Cocast.fit and your website is powered by Cocast.fit, we are not responsible for any copyright or other law violations caused by the content on your website.

ALT:

You can enhance the accessibility and SEO of your images by adding an ALT attribute. This attribute specifies alternative text for an image if it cannot be displayed. Alt text is crucial for accessibility, as it provides information to users who cannot view images, such as those using screen readers. It's also important for SEO, as search engines use alt text to understand your content, which can lead to higher rankings, particularly in image results. This increased visibility can drive valuable traffic to your site.
