How to edit actions of for links and buttons in website builder?
For links and button elements, you have the option to edit the action that occurs when people click on them.
To edit the action of a link or button element, select the one you want to edit. The side menu will then display the settings for that element, with the edit action section at the top.
There are four types of actions you can set:
1) Open link
This means that when someone clicks on that link or button, a new link will automatically open, and the person who clicked on it will be taken to the new link.
2) Scroll to
This means that when someone clicks on that link or button, they will be scrolled to a specific block within the current page instead of being taken to a new link. For example, if you want visitors to be taken to the section that introduces your business when they click on the "about" tab, you can select the “Scroll to” option. Then, in the dropdown menu in the target blocks, choose the desired block that starts introducing your business.
3) Mail to
If you want visitors to send you an email when they click on the link or button you're editing, you can choose this option. Then, in the email box, you must enter the email address to which you want the email to be sent. When they click on that link or button, an email composition window will automatically appear, with the recipient's email address automatically filled in with the address you set.
4) Call to
If you want the Call-to-Action (CTA) you're editing to directly call you when clicked, choose this option. Enter your phone number in the box so that clicking the CTA will initiate a call. When visitors click it, a dialog or prompt on their device will typically ask if they want to call the number using their phone's default calling app. If confirmed, the call will be initiated.
