Updating colors for all instances in Cocast.fit is straightforward. You can easily choose any color for text or background. Here's how:
1. Selecting the Correct Element:
- Identify the layer or block you want to edit first.
- Follow the steps in the help article "How to navigate layers of elements in a block?" to locate the correct element.
2. Changing Colors for Text:
- Click on the text you want to modify.
- The right-side menu will display the text settings under the "Appearance" section.
- Here, you can adjust the text color and add shadows.
3. Changing Colors for Elements or Blocks:
- If you select an element that is not text (like a container) or a block, the color settings will be under the "Color" section.
- In the color section, you can edit the background color and text color for the selected part.
4. Selecting Colors:
- Click on the color box, and the color selector will appear.
- By default, the color box shows "auto," which is the default color for that element or block.
- You can choose your own color by selecting it in the color selector or entering the hex or RGBA value.
- Remember, you can also set the opacity of a color.
đź’ˇ After selecting your desired color, click anywhere outside the color selector to close it.
5. Consider Layer Hierarchy:
- Keep in mind the layer hierarchy when editing colors.
- For example, if you set the text color of a title block to white but then manually change the text color inside that block to black, only the specifically edited text will be black; the rest will remain white.
- Similarly, color settings in block settings will override page settings.
đź’ˇ Smaller layer color edits will override larger layer edits. For instance, color changes made to individual elements will override block or page settings.
