How to close and reopen a form and how does it works?
In Cocast.fit, including intake forms, check-ins, agreements, and questionnaires, you have the flexibility to close and reopen forms.
Where to Find the Close or Reopen Button?
For intake forms and check-ins, navigate to the Forms tab within the respective feature. For agreements and questionnaires, directly open the feature. In the list view, click on the "..." button, and an option menu will appear with "Close Form" or "Reopen Form."
How Does the Close and Reopen Feature Work?
a) Closing a Form:
If your form is currently open, allowing clients to access and submit responses, the "Close Form" option will be available. Once clicked, the status changes to closed, indicating that the form is no longer accepting submissions. Clients attempting to open the form link will receive a message stating that the form has been closed.
b) Reopening a Form:
If a form is closed, you can choose to reopen it by clicking the "Reopen Form" button. After reopening, the status changes to open, allowing the corresponding form to accept submissions again.
Why do I need to close or reopen forms?
- Closing forms allows you to periodically stop accepting submissions, like if you reach capacity or want to focus on current clients. Reopening forms lets you begin accepting new clients again when ready.
- Forms can be closed while you update, tweak or refresh the questions. Reopening rolls out the new version. This lets you iterate without disruption.
- Seasonal coaches may close forms during off-peak periods where they are not actively training new clients. Forms can reopen to accept sign-ups when ramping up for busy seasons.
- Special promotion or offer periods can have a dedicated intake form that closes once the offer ends. Forms can reopen for regular sign-ups.
